A major highlight of this release is the addition of the new SafeGuard Configuration Protection Module for port and configuration protection which is now integrated within SafeGuard Enterprise and delivers on Utimaco is strategy to offer an integ-rated encryption and data leakage prevention (DLP) solution.

Utimaco SafeGuard Enterprise 5.3 – is comprised of the existing SafeGuard Management Center module, the SafeGuard Device Encryption, the Data Exchange as well as Partner Connect and SafeGuard Configuration Protection module. Further modules rounding off Utimaco’s data security suite are to be added in later product versions: SafeGuard File and Folder Encryption secures user data that is exchanged between working groups. In addition, it can be used to encrypt both local disk drives and network servers at file and directory level, and to assign them individual access rights.
With its modular, scalable, and open architecture, SafeGuard Enterprise provides seamless integration of current and future SafeGuard modules, new security components, and third-party products guaranteeing continuous investment protection.
SafeGuard Enterprise is comprised of seven modules, and is centrally managed by the Management Center console, included in SafeGuard Management Center.

– Partner Connect – centralized solution for managing data security in mixed IT environments.
– LeakProof – offers a unique approach for Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) that combines endpoint-based enforcement with highly accurate fingerprinting and content matching technology.
– Configuration Protection – controls and secures endpoints and devices over every interface and guarantees flexible, easy-to-use, information leakage prevention.
– File and Folder Encryption.
