Contrast (Luminance) Noise and Color (Chrominance) Noise can be individually present in an image or might be seen in the same image. Fast or high ISO speeds and low light levels can add noise to images, while some images might exhibit high levels of JPEG artifacts.

Selective Functionality
Selectively applying noise reduction can lead to an image with better detail and clarity. By limiting where noise reduction is applied, details in those areas that do not require noise reduction can be preserved.

Selective Tool: Lets you apply Dfine 2.0 only where you want using Adobe® Photoshop® or Photoshop Elements Brush Tool, automatically and managing layers and layer masks.
